It's a first for London! The Festival of Heat will be held on Sunday 29th September at Spitalfields City Farm. This celebration of all things CHILLI will look at the all the different ways in which cultures across the globe eat, cook and enjoy chilli. Expect to find samples of the best of the UK chilli harvest, chilli sauce cooking demonstrations, chilli pickles and preserves to savour and much more, including top quality snacks from the brand new cafe. Or, settle back and listen to live folk music whilst enjoying a drink from the farm bar. And as always at Spitalfields City Farm days out, the kids will be able to ride one of the resident donkeys. This promises to be a brilliant way for the whole family to wind down at the end of what has been a sizzling summer, so put it in your diary now.
