Following on from their first successful illustration show, Curiouser and Curiouser, Drawn Chorus Collective presents The Greatest Show on Earth, an exhibition featuring illustration inspired by the best circuses, freak shows and fairs in literature. The circus has been delighting and enthralling audiences for centuries, and now, for one week only, from Angela Carter through to Dr. Seuss, Drawn Chorus will draw you into a world of enchantment and wonder.
A preview of images by Emma Block, inspired by Angela Carter's Nights at the Circus.
Drawn Chorus is a group of 24 illustrators (and growing) working together to create zines, crafts and shows with a twist of something a little special. Between the 20 + roster of illustrators, the Drawn Chorus have been shortlisted for the prestigious AOI awards, annual Folio Society competition, Macmillan Children's Book Prize, 3×3 Magazine show and Threadneedle Prize. They have also worked for a number of well-recognised brands and publishers. The collective also contains a number of illustrators from the Middlesex University alumni, tutors, and graduates, as well as Amelia Magazine's favourite Emma Block.

Taking place for a week at The Gallery on the Corner, you are also invited to the private view on Saturday the 21st of September, from 6 – 9 pm.; come meet the costumed ‘Chorus’.
