From 30th March – 3rd July the Design Museum host their next fascinating exhibition, this time a look at the typographic world of hugely influential Dutch designer WIm Crouwel. Now in his 80s this man is almost entirely responsible for the playful modernistic aesthetic of the 1950s and beyond, a style which continues to be widely utilised by design of all forms. He also designed exhibition spaces and founded the multi-disciplinary agency Total Design, which produced the graphic icons for well known corporate clients such as Makro.

This exhibition brings together everything from letterheads to calendars to the huge body of work he produced in a long partnership with the Stedelijk Museum. It's an absolute must see for anyone interested in typographic design. Find out more information on the Design Museum website.
