Artist Veronica Rowlands is holding an interactive art event with 100% of the proceeds being split between charities beating bowel cancer and breast cancer care. Members of the public are invited to Debut Contemporary Gallery on Saturday 14th September 2013 to adorn their very own character on a strip of wallpaper in whichever way they choose. This promises to be an exciting day, featuring guests from both charities and sponsorship from Farrow & Ball.
Veronica Rowlands has been working alongside Breast Cancer Care and Beating Bowel Cancer, to design these wallpapers; adults and children alike are invited into Debut Contemporary to leave their mark on this iconic art piece which will then be exhibited for a further three months and auctioned in aid of the charities above. Both of these charities are very close to Veronica’s heart, having lost her beloved stepfather to bowel cancer in 2009. She wishes to create a legacy in which art brings people together in creating awareness for the charities and each individual who participates places a part of their personality onto this.
