Oskar Schlemmer’s Triadisches Ballett by Niki Groom
In celebration of Bauhaus and the Barbican Art Gallery's current retrospective, the venue is hosting a special all-day event, Bauhaus by Day, Bauhaus by Night.
Bauhaus by Day runs from 12-6pm and includes loads of family fun, including set design workshops, kite-making workshops, an accessory-making session with the mighty Fred Butler and many more. I'm particularly excited about Legobusier©: a 'Lego meets Corbusier modern architecture master class'. Best of all, it's free!
Don your Fred Butler accessories and Bauhaus-inspired ensembles for Bauhaus by Night – a glamorous costume party featuring Ryan Styles, Warp Records' Kwes and a jazz set from the Joshua Jawson Quartet. It promises to be a fabulous night, reminiscent of the famous Bauhaus school parties.
