Designersblock. 32 Cremer St, London
Category: Art
This looks fun, and for a worthwhile cause too: a charity art sale from Egaku and Smile at Designersblock. There will be a great collection of prints, T-shirts, zines and cards for sale, donated by Nobrow Press, Okido Magazine, Lazy Oaf, Rob Ryan, Anorak Magazine, Jean Jullien, Laura Carlin, Frimon Press, Peepshow, Hato Press… and a lot more young artists, and also a postcard workshop and a short film/animation screening. Prices range from 50p to £100, so a little something for everyone!
While chomping on cakes, mince pies, beer and mulled wine here is what you can get involved in:
Workshop
Draw cards & make Origami for the victims in Japan who are still suffering from the disaster.
Film projecting
Watch animations and films by talented artists.
Exhibition
Photo exhibition by a Japanese photographer Satoru Niwa who has taken pictures of the disaster since the earthquake.
Designersblock is next to Hoxton Overground station.
