Papergirl is a radical art project created by Aisha Ronniger in Berlin: a participatory experiment inspired by paper-boys, distributing rolled art pieces to passers by. It normally relies on non-commercial dialogue, but for this sale there will of course be an exchange of cash.

Illustrators, designers and photographers from around the world are donating prints, t-shirts, fans and…. wait for it… knitted beards to raise money for the Japan tsunami relief efforts. There will also be a mix of originals and prints starting from under £10. Every penny will go to the Red Cross Japan tsunami appeal

David Ryan Robinson
Expect a wide range of lovely stuff, including screen prints of local landmarks from David Ryan Robinson.

We recommend that you get along to Common quick sharp if you live in the Manchester area – another brilliant idea to support a very worthwhile cause. More information here, or follow Papergirl Manchester on twitter.
