‘Beards, Newcastle and music’ – this is what illustrator Suzie Winsor is about, given the choice of words to describe herself. From 4th February, her first solo exhibition will be on display at Hoxton’s KK Outlet. ‘Beard and Wonderful’ is a selection of screenprinted illustrations of her favourite beardy fellas, from Charles Darwin to Jarvis Cocker.

London-based Suzie has previously worked with Paul Smith, Tatty Devine and papercut artist Rob Ryan, and says she admires artists who displays a sense of humour in their work. We will attend the opening on 3rd February and hope to get a chance to speak more with Suzie then – so look out for our review.

Beard and Wonderful runs at KK Outlet, 24 Hoxton Square, London N1 6PB from 4th to 28th February. KK Outlet is open 9am-6pm Monday to Friday, and between 12 noon and 5pm on Saturdays.
