Anybody that enjoyed the Vivienne Westwood retrospective at the V&A a few years ago will be delighted to discover that Selfridges is hosting an exhibition totally devoted to Dame Viv's revolutionary shoe designs.
This mini-retrospective charts five decades of Westwood's incredible footwear, looking at her inspiration (anything from British heritage to pirates) and some of the most memorable moments, including that moment when diamond devotee* Naomi Campbell tumbled on the catwalk in the infamous Sahara plimsoll in 1993.
The exhibition takes place in the Ultralounge on the ground floor, so why not pop down and view some of the most famous fashion heels in history?
