Lonely Drifter Karen are an example of what happens when Europeans join their creative forces and don't end up with Eurovision, i.e they use their musical talents for good and not evil. LDK's new album, Fall Of Spring, an ethereal, dreamy and orchestral amalgamation of loveliness invokes images of alpine fields, Mediterranean seascapes and Northern Lights, which is apposite given that Lonely Drifter Karen are made up of wondering souls who met in Barcelona, but came from Vienna, Italy and Mallorca respectively (via a solo career in Sweden for lead singer Taja Frinta)
LDK play a set at Rough Trade East at 1pm Tuesday. No wristband needed, just come down on the day.
