What is broken in our world and what can we do to mend it? Artsadmin's biennial festival on climate, consumerism and community returns to Toynbee Studios in East London this June. Using immersive theatre, gaming, singing, making and un-making, preaching, talking, reading and debating, a group of artists, activists, anarchists, filmmakers, storytellers, poets and writers will respond to today’s global concerns and challenge audiences to get involved with change.

Two Degrees will feature new works from UK and European artists: the festival includes Kate McIntosh's Worktable, which invites audiences to disassemble and reassemble everyday objects, a new immersive performance from arts activists Platform in the guise of a spy thriller (watch the trailer for Oil City here), Davis Freeman's 7 Promises, where your environmental pledges are rewarded with shots of vodka, and an opportunity to contribute your most precious water to Amy Sharrocks' Museum of Water plus more. For a taster of what to expect, read my review of Crayfish Bob's at Two Degrees in 2011.
