Bauhaus by Sam Parr
The Barbican celebrates perhaps the most influential art and design school there ever was this summer. Bauhaus: Art as Life looks back at 14 years of design, performance and architectural innovation at the modernist institution. It's produced in collaboration with the Bauhaus-Archiv in Berlin, so you're in for some big treats – photography, furniture, costume, print and paintings to name a few of the varied pieces on offer by some of the twentieth century's leading designers.
There's also a host of workshops, talks and film screenings, so check out the Barbican website for more details.
This is the biggest celebration of Bauhaus in the UK for 40 years, so don't miss it!
