From 11th May to 14th July aficionados of fashion illustration are in for a treat! The Fashion Space Gallery at the London College of Fashion is playing host to an exhibition which celebrates the very best of new fashion illustration – and featuring none other than our very own Lesley Barnes (who got bitten by the fashion illustration bug when she entered her contribution for my book, Amelia's Compendium of Fashion Illustration) and Cristian Grossi, who has more recently contributed some images to my pages.
This fab image of ethical designer Christopher Raeburn by Lesley Barnes was created for my book and features in the exhibition.

The 60 works from 13 international fashion illustrators were chosen because of their attention to detail, craftsmanship and execution, demonstrated through traditional and innovative approaches to materials and process, and the result is an exhibition which celebrates a diversity of style and media in this increasingly important discipline.
