In 2008 Amelia's Magazine reviewed Rob Flower's “exhibition of juvenile, idiosyncratic witticisms from 4 nice people⦔ One of those four nice people was Jess Wilson, who later became an Amelia's Anthology illustrator and the co-creator of Pencil Chit Chat.
This September Rob Flowers returns with a brand new solo exhibition: Thesaurus: a treasure house of miscellany in a new gallery underneath the Haggerston Pub, Kingsland Road.
The exhibition takes its name from a new installation by the artist, titled; The Museum of Miscellany. The work takes the form of a museum built within the gallery walls, the display cabinets showcase Flower's collection of art and memorabilia alongside their unique history of creation.
Unseen objects of unknown cultural significance. A treasure trove of “cultural flotsam.” If any of those phrases catch your attention (as they do ours!) head down to Kingsland Road before the 3rd October.
