Boar's Head by Sarah Arnett.
The Illustrated Recipe exhibition at Cameron Contemporary Art in Brighton features work inspired by the culinary eccentricities of the Regency period and with a nod to the world’s first celebrity chef, 'the chef of Kings and the King of chefs' Antoine Careme.
Fish by Kate Jenkins.
Five artists (including two of my favourite Brighton-based designers, Sarah Arnett and Kate Jenkins) have responded in five mediums; paint, crochet, collage, denim and digital illustration. Swans will fly, boars trot and jellies wobble their way into our exhibition. Expect Mock Turtle soup, Jugged Hare, Salamongundy and probably the first ever depiction of the Prince Regent created entirely in denim.
