City – London Kills Me.
Inspired by London presents an eclectic ensemble of six established designers and artists who are united by their passion for our great metropolis. Exhibiting for London Design Festival 2012 the collection incorporates print, textiles, fashion and jewellery and is being showcased in the heart of the Clerkenwell design district.
St Pauls – Bronagh Kennedy.
Backgrounds in architecture and urban design, illustration, printmaking, jewellery, fashion and interiors combine to create a cornucopia of contemporary designs in celebration of the essence of London. Drawing on the heritage, the grandeur, the commonplace and the unusual, interpretations of the city are displayed through skilled techniques by a variety of designer makers, examples of which are shown here. Jane of London Kills Me has frequently contributed beautiful illustrations to Amelia's Magazine: this is a fabulous chance to see what else she makes.
Columbia Road – Vic Lee.
Immortal coil in Amber – Sarah Eyton designs.
Other designers showing include Michelle Mason and Rosemary Lucas. The Private View is on Tuesday 18 September at 5pm. Find out more about Inspired by London on the London Design Festival website.
