Japanese illustrator (and sometime Amelia's Mag contributor) Nanae Kawahara hosts her first solo exhibition at The Haberdashery cafe in Crouch End, North London. She will be showing work inspired by her pet dog which she left behind in Japan, and all the other dogs which she fondly recalls from her hometown of Yokohama.
Expect plenty of Nanae's trademark vivid colouring and abstracted forms. Nanae hopes that visitors will enjoy comparing their pets (and of course, not only dogs but cats, hamsters, turtles…) So this is not just for you dog lovers out there! As well as doggie portraits Nanae Kawahara has imagined a host of dogs in human situations – here's a taster of what to expect below! Why not pop by if you're in the area and enjoy a slice of cake whilst admiring Nanae's pictures.
Opening Hours: Mon – Fri 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Sat – Sun 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
