Way of the Morris is one of those fabulous, home grown documentaries. Tim Plester is a thespian who hails from a small village where Morris Dancing has long been a part of the local culture. In this touching film he returns to his roots to find out just how this arcane dance has survived, even through a long dark period when it was no longer practiced. Beautifully filmed and very touching… I'll be doing a Q&A with the director in advance of this Barbican premiere but in the meantime you can book your tickets here.
