It's that time of year when there are literally a zillion brilliant craft fairs to visit… all of them desperate to attract your attention. And I highly recommend that you attend them wherever you are for they're the best way of dispensing with your hard earned cash when it comes to buying Christmas presents – not only will you be supporting the local arts and crafts industry but you're bound to snap up a few unique non mass produced goods for your family and friends to enjoy.
This weekend I'm particularly tempted by the Eco Design Christmas Fair in Islington, which was founded in 2004 by textile designer Louise Kamara. It hosts a long list of sustainable designers as well as some fun workshops. Check out more on their website here. Open until 5pm on Saturday only.
