The V&A's main exhibition this autumn/winter celebrates the golden age of Serge Diaghilev and the Ballets Russes – that toured Europe for two decades amidst acclaim, passion and riots and scandal.
The exhibition presents many of the extravagant costumes, designed by Chanel and Poiret (amongst others) along with other collaborations with artists and designers of the time – Matisse, Picasso and Cocteau.
It also features examples of the lavish set designs that made The Ballets Russes so groundbreaking.
Don't miss this fantastic exhibition that celebrates theatre, performance, fashion and art all in one!
