Hollywood glamour by Maryanne Oliver
Well, this is right up my strasse. Shame I can't actually go.
The V&A's latest Friday Late invites you to bask in the golden age of Hollywood: the glamour, the stars, the fashion and film trailers. (I actually feel a bit sick that I can't go. Look at the website! It looks INCREDIBLE.)
Anyway, there'll be all sorts going on, so head down on Friday 27th August. It's totally free, and you can expect to be welcomed by a DJ in the Grand Entrance, see showreels of fabulous fifties film trailers and take part in interactive workshops and events including Pin-Up girls badge making, screenprinting, illustration, and loads of other things.
So dress up and head down there to revel in and celebrate this wonderful era! You can also join a talk of Grace Kelly: Style Icon by the exhibition's curator (although places are limited so get down early!)
