Ever been at a gallery during a date, wishing that it didn’t close so early? Ever wanted to go to an exhibition but couldn’t get out of work on time? Well neither will be a problem this weekend as venues across the country flex their opening hours for the night owls and culture vultures among us, to stage a unique eclectic set of events.
Partnering with the annual European equivalent “La Nuit des Musées”, over 220 shows have been confirmed, ranging from Pop magazine editor and super-stylist Katie Grand giving us the scoop on fashion’s edgiest stars at the V&A’s “Grace Kelly–Style Icon” exhibition reviewed here, to stitching and bitching at The Hunterian Museum.
There’s also an array of other stuff going on and most importantly, the event marks the Tate Modern’s 10th birthday, so marker pen it all in your diary and head on down for a cultural knees-up.
