The exhibition is up! Do make sure you visit the Tatty Devine shop on Brick Lane to view the 16 prints taken from my 10th anniversary limited edition artists' book, That Which We Do Not Understand. The book was officially launched with a special event last night (write up of the event to come soon!) and the gold leaf prints look stunning on the walls, where they shall remain throughout the Christmas season. Tatty Devine is currently the only place where you can buy the book, which should be available online from my website and in other key stores including the Tate and the Design Museum from next week.

About That Which We Do Not Understand:
That Which We Do Not Understand was funded via a Kickstarter campaign and features artwork and writing from over 90 contributors across the world, and the exhibition features 16 of the artworks from the book, alongside the stunning cover image of flaming meteors, all resplendent with gold leaf detailing.
The project was put together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Amelia’s Magazine. The theme was inspired by my personal experience of two late miscarriages, and explores the many ways in which humans seek to understand the things that they don’t understand in their lives: think Mysticism, Spirituality, Alchemy, Paganism, Witchcraft, Herbalism, Shamanism, Magick, Voodoo, Folklore, Occult, Esotericism, Tarot, Astrology, Animal Spirits, Paranormal activities, the Moon and much more. No matter how much we quantify and analyse there are still many unknowns that we must embrace, especially when it comes to matters of life, love and death. It is human nature to query that which does not make sense, and these questions have forever fuelled our quest to explore, create and connect.
The book!
Limited edition gold leaf print by Niall Grant.
The book features exclusive artworks inspired by That Which We Do Not Understand, interspersed with short stories, flash fiction and poetry. These beautiful, inspiring and thought provoking contributions collectively question and celebrate the miraculousness of life, and some of the finest artworks appear in the exhibition.
